The upper receiver is the heart of your rifle's accuracy. We offer standard 7075 Forged Uppers for purist builds, but our specialty is our matched 6061 Billet Uppers. These offer a tighter fit with our lower receivers, reducing "receiver wobble" and potentially improving accuracy.
The Importance of US-Sourced Aluminum
Many budget AR-15 parts are made from extruded 6063 aluminum imported from overseas, which is softer and prone to thread failure. At Tactical Machining, we use certified US-sourced 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum. Whether it is a charging handle or a buffer tube, the material matters.
