The Importance of US-Sourced Aluminum
Many budget AR-15 parts are made from extruded 6063 aluminum imported from overseas, which is softer and prone to thread failure. At Tactical Machining, we use certified US-sourced 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 aluminum. Whether it is a charging handle or a buffer tube, the material matters.
